CSJ Memorial Fund
The CSJ Memorial Fund is a private non-profit foundation dedicated to the memory of Clifford Stanley Jones Jr. for the charitable purpose of advancement of minorities in fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (also referred to as STEM). The goals of the CSJ Memorial Fund are to increase awareness, enhance education and provide educational opportunities for minorities.
CSJMF is using golf as the primary venue to raise funds and awareness to advance MiSTEM. Donations are always accepted at any time. The funds will be used towards scholarships for students focused on education in STEM, as well as other opportunities to encourage students and foster awareness of STEM and the opportunities and needs to improve the percentage of minorities in STEM.
Currently, CSJMF is working with Valley Stream South High School, in Nassau County, NY and St. David's Episcopal Church in St Albans, NY as the primary focus for nominees for CSJMF scholarship recipients. As the fund continues to grow, CSJMF will continue to reach out for new opportunities for scholarships and events.

Clifford S. Jones
Clifford Stanley Jones, Jr. was born in Grand Turk on October 20, 1937. His father, CSJ, also known as Father Jones, was a well known mathematics teacher of the Turks and Caicos Islands, and became even wider known after entering the ministry, becoming a Priest of the Anglican Church in 1963, and Canonized in 1975. A Turks and Caicos native, CSJ Jr. went to further his education at St. Johns in Nassau, Bahamas, and on Christmas Eve 1954 was sent to Lincoln University. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. Then, after obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Howard University in 1960, he moved in with his Aunt in New York City where he began working for Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. In 1962, he married his beloved wife Joyce and shortly after had two children, Clifford Stanley III and Caryn Stasia. He continued to work for UL for 37 years, and enjoyed his family, his trips back home and his love of the game of golf, until his passing, ironically on a Long Island golf course.
CSJ III continued the engineering legacy by earning his B.S. in Ocean Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology. He went on to work for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, got married to his lovely wife Rita and raise his family in NY.
The CSJ Memorial fund is dedicated to CSJ Jr, but recognizes the legacy of CSJ.
